General
Note:
WAR investigates many reported cases of rape
and sexual abuse every year, which is close to around one
hundred, and provides the survivors counseling and information
regarding their legal rights and free legal aid, if the survivors
choose to go to court for the prosecution of the accused.
However, the survivor and the family make the final decision.
About 20 to 25 percent choose to go to court with legal aid
provided by WAR.
