Violence Against Women (VAW) - Taking Responsibility at the Local Government Level

WAR plans to launch a sensitization workshop for the elected UCs, Town Counselors and Nazims from the Korangi and Landhi areas this year. The workshop will last a total of eight days, with 96 potential candidates already selected. The workshops is an integrated effort to further WAR's community outreach in the said areas, with the objective of encouraging community-based participation towards combating the problems of rape and sexual abuse survivors from the grass roots level.
